The co-pilot of the doomed Germanwings Airbus A320, 28-year-old German Andreas Günter Lubitz deliberating locked his captain out of the cockpit before deliberately crashing into a mountain to 'destroy the plane,’ French prosecutor it has been revealed.
French prosecutor Brice Robin gave further chilling details of the final ten minutes in the cockpit before the Airbus A320 plunged into the French Alps killing 150 people. He said;
'The intention was to destroy the plane. Death was instant. The plane hit the mountain at 700km per hour. I don't think that the passengers realised what was happening until the last moments because on the recording you only hear the screams in the final seconds'

Al Jazeera have demanded the release of their two journalists Ahmed Idris and Ali Mustafa who were recently ‘restrained’ by Nigerian military troop for ‘loitering’ in areas where military operations is ongoing in Maiduguri. Al Jazeera in a statement says the two detained journalists are officially accredited by the Independent Electoral Commission in Abuja with the clearance to report from anywhere in Nigeria during the entire election period. While speaking at the PDP rally in Ibadan yesterday, first lady Patience Jonathan says Gen. Buhari will send her to prison if he emerges winner of the Saturday presidential election. She tells the crowd;
“I want to warn you not to listen to the All Progressives Congress. The APC does not have materials to match what the PDP has on (the) ground. Their candidate was there in governance initially. President Goodluck Jonathan has reinstated his belief that he will win the presidential election come Saturday March 28. In a statement released by the presidential spokesman Reuben Abati, President Jonathan lists reasons for his confidence. Read article below;

Royal Dutch Shell Plc has completed the sale of its stake in Oil Mining Lease (OML) and the Nembe Creek Trunk Line (NCTL) lease in Niger Delta to Aiteo Eastern E&P Co. Ltd for about $1.7 billion. Shell has realised about $3.04 billion so far from the sale of oil assets in Nigeria.
Shell in a statement Wednesday says they decided to sell five Nigerian oil assets after a 2013 review of its business in Nigeria. The company said last October that it had signed sales agreements for all of these assets, which included 30 percent stakes in OMLs 18, 24, 25, 29 and the NCTL, Nigeria's main onshore pipeline.
French oil major Total SA and Italy's Eni also agreed to sell their minority stakes in OML 29 and NCTL, giving Aiteo a 45 percent stake in both assets.
A 35 year old woman, Mitchelle Blair, was arrested by the Detroit police after the bodies of her children were found in a freezer at the family's home on Tuesday March 24 while officers were carrying out an eviction at the Martin Luther King townhouse. The boy aged about 11 and a 14-year-old girl were found dead in a plastic bag and appears to have been frozen for ‘sometime’.
